The 2009 Seafood Festival Parade featured marching bands from local schools, dance units from local organizations, floats from various civic and other groups, Festival and other Local Queens, Princesses, and assorted pageant royalty, as well as our local Police and Fire Departments proudly showing off their shiny equipment and loud sirens.  The children lining the parade route were treated to scads of candy and beads thrown from the floats and out the car windows of participants.  From where we stood, everyone was having a great time getting out on a beautiful morning and enjoying the festivities.
